My 30 Day Challenge, 30 day Hair Challenge
Day 28- Today Natalie a co worker of mine did a beautiful job braiding my hair. She braided my hair into a fishtail french braid on one side, and a french braid on the other that turned into a fishtail braid and pinned it in the back crossing over one another. Then she took the top sections of my hair and braided it into the other two braids. Fun to play around with braids and they are so comfortable to wear all day long.
Recently I was inspired to do a 30 day challenge. I think the idea is really great! I wanted to do something with myself that involved hair and inspiring other people around it.
So here it is: My 30 Day challenge in styling my hair differently everyday and documenting it with a photograph daily. I really want to inspire others to fall in love with their hair and style it differently than the norm:) Please check back for daily updates and tips and tricks for styling your hair. ENJOY!

30 Day Challenge- Day 22 of my 30 Day Hair Challenge
Day 22- Yesterday Natalie and I went down to Blick a local art store down the street from the salon to buy some oil pastels. I was looking to try some color in my hair and wanted it to be temporary. We purchase a few different colors and played around with them. On dark hair you need to wet the hair down first to apply so the color shows up hair. On blonde hair though you do not want to wet the hair because it can stain the hair more, you can apply the colors to dry hair on blondes. Then to seal in the color use a blowdryer, curling iron or a flat iron. Playing around with different colors in the hair was so much fun. This is a great idea if your looking for something temporary and you have a fun event going on and you want your hair to look funky!

Day 14 - my hippie inspired hair, today i parted my hair down the center , then I braided two waterfall braids on either side of my head and secured in the back with bobby pins. I then used a 3/4 inch iron and wrap the remaining hair around the iron to create a soft carefree wave.

30 Day Hair Challenge
Day12- Today I went for a different look. With the help of Lindsay @Studio DNA Salon the back of my hair was braided into three separate french braids. I then pinned up the front half of my hair into a high bun. I pull down my bangs and some soft wispy pieces along the face to create softness. Super comfy and fun to wear!!

My 30 Day Hair Challenge- Day 11
Day 11- Today I decided to braid my hair from front to back with a inverse french braid. Instead of wrapping overtop while french braiding you wrap the sections underneath and get a braid that stands out more. I took the two braids in back and rolled them and bobby pinned in place. I then took a few piece around the face down to create a softer look.

Day 4- Today I added some Kerastase Elixir Ultime to my hair. It added moisture and shine to the ends of my dry hair. I then took the two front sections of my hair and french braided them back. I pinned up the back of my hair with a few bobby pins to create a messy bun. Then I sprayed Kerastase Double Force Hairspray all over to give me all day hold.
